Children are born musicians! Benefits that music can have on babies and young children are widely known. It nourishes the brain whilst affecting all areas of development. The effects are wide ranging, for example developing problem solving, critical thinking and phonemic awareness (a pre-reading skill) It also calms and focuses the mind.

Hello, my name is Jan. After an enjoyable career teaching in Primary and Early Years, I opted to make a career change. I decided that I still wanted a job where I could work with children and make a positive difference to their lives. I am now enjoying delivering Kiddleydivey sessions to nurseries in Manchester and Oldham. These fun, interactive, themed music classes have been created by a professional musician. They follow the guidelines of the Early Years Foundation Stage and involve the use of props, puppets and specially composed songs. The themes are constantly being researched and developed.

There are 2 age groups:
Kiddleydivey Kittens (0-2 years)
Kiddleydivey Cats (2-4 years)

I run Kiddleydivey sessions in and around Oldham, Manchester East and South and am delighted to run Kiddleydivey sessions not only there, but for customers in towns and villages around Heywood & Middleton too.
