SALLY MURPHY
Sally is a qualified Music Therapist having studied at the Guildhall College of Music under the leadership of Maggie Pickett. She was fortunate enough to work along side Juliette Alvin who pioneered music therapy in Britain as well as Mary Priestley and Tony Wigram.
Having qualified in London she then went on to study further at the University of California Berkeley developing further knowledge of child psychology and development. She went on to develop the first Music Therapy department in Tooting Bec Hospital London as well as working at St Lawrences Hospital Caterham, St Mary Abbot's Hospital London and Banstead Hospital Surrey. Sally worked as head of music at Arbor Vale Special School in Slough and more recently as head of music at St Mary's Junior School in Gerrards Cross and Dair House School in Farnham Royal.
Sally is a qualified Montessori teacher and a trained dancer having trained at Art Educational Schools in London.
KIDDLEYDIVEY AND MUSIC THERAPY
Kiddleydivey currently provides music therapy sessions for residents in over 30 residential care homes. We specialize in group sessions for the elderly but also do groups and individual sessions for children with Down's Syndrome and Autism
