Kiddleydivey has been running since 1996, created by the founder Sally Murphy. Due to my love of music and a passion to make a difference, I brought Kiddleydivey to Cumbria in April 2015 with fantastic response!

The many wonderful props and instruments as well as specially edited songs from different eras, all help to promote movement and stimulate through music making the sessions fun, lively and entertaining for all. Staff and family members enjoy them too!

Kiddleydivey consistently research and develop its many musical themed activities and sessions that have been created by a music professional. I visit many different establishments care homes, day centres and community groups.

So, what are the benefits?

  • Positive changes in moods and emotional states
  • A sense of control over life
  • Stimulation that promotes interest even when other approaches are ineffective
  • Opportunities to interact socially with others
  • Improvement in memory functioning
  • Increased mobility
  • A wonderful time had by all !!

Here’s some reviews from my lovely homes.

Shane Wickins, Home Manager, Kirkby Stephen “Ann has attended Stobars Hall for quite some time now and it certainly shows a positive effect with our residents. Our residents enjoy Ann’s` visits and the general music of which she provides to us and we look forward to seeing Ann once again.”

With much thanks Teresa and Dawn, Whitehaven.

“Just to say a big thank you from all of us at Brackenthwaite for the wonderful music you deliver to our residents. All who attend your sessions find them enjoyable and benefit from the stimulation it gives them. Looking forward to your next session.”

Jacqueline Forester, Activity Coordinator – Blackwell Vale Home, Carlisle. “Sessions went very well and the residents didn’t want it to end!”
