Kiddleydivey provide fun-filled lively and imaginative classes and sessions for children, the elderly and those with additional needs. We use specially edited versions of chosen songs and pieces of music, inherent in their ability to stimulate memories, minds and bodies, as well as originally composed songs for children, using sensory props to encourage engagement and education.

As you watch a Kiddleydivey session, the first thing you will notice is how much fun everyone is having – the laughter and smiles. Music has so many benefits – so many qualities to engage people who sometimes, have lost all means of communication. Music brings people together as a group sharing a common experience, instead of feeling isolated and alone. Kiddleydivey music leaders are qualified chair based exercise trainers as well and always include some exercises where appropriate.

We educate children through humour, songs, classical music and imaginative themes – visiting the jungle, the farm, nocturnal animals, Dinosaur Island and many more, sometimes getting there on a magical flying carpet. Musical concepts and developmental ideas are introduced through song, rhythm, movement and use of teddies, animal characters that visit every week, and a popular feature – ‘what’s in the bag?’ – a creature from the Arctic, or a cheeky monkey? Perhaps Kiddleydivey Cat or Herbert the Hedgehog!

Because we have years of experience with both children and older adults, our mixed generational sessions are very popular. We are able to bring all age groups together using songs for every age and ability. Everyone is in the group together, neither the young or the young at heart being the audience of the other. The children help the older adults get their instruments and props and the adults love to engage the children with their own stories and experiences.
