Kiddleydivey have been delivering our upbeat, lively, and therapeutic music programmes to residential homes, day centres, hospitals and specialist units as well as children’s classes in South Buckinghamshire, Berkshire & Hertfordshire since 1996. We currrently deliver 20+ children’s classes each week as well as 15+ therapeutic music programmes in day services, lunch clubs and care homes.

The song tracks we use with the adults have all been chosen for their popularity with our particular client group and for their therapeutic content. We choose to use mostly up-beat songs with lively rhythms, popular classical pieces and music from many different eras and genres.
Each and every song or music track has been specially adapted for use in each individual setting, with tempos sometimes altered, keys changed to make group singing easier, and unknown versed to songs taken out.

As we also work with younger clients we have popular songs and music from the 60’s 70’s 80’s and 90’s as well.

We have a large variety of props that we use to encourage movement. From hoops to feathers, ribbons and bass drums, bubbles and hats, we can be sure to entice everyone to participate.

We are constantly updating and researching new therapeutic methods, songs, music and equipment to add to our music sessions, so our children and adults can really benefit from and enjoy the content and structure of our music programmes and classes. We add special sessions for important occasions such as the Queen’s birthday celebrations and the Olympics, Easter, and of course Christmas.
We recently put together a session for a ‘beach party’ with a large group of over 50 adults who live in the community and came to party together at the Old Windsor Day Centre.

Our music programmes are always lively, full of fun and laughter but most importantly, the musical content is presented in such a way as to really stimulate, educate and engage the children, adults and people with special needs, encouraging movement, socialisation and interaction.

Hi, my name is Sonia Panesar. I am a Kiddleydivey music leader and an independent vocalist and recording artist. Since the tender age of 4 years, I have gained vast experience of performing on stages of crowds up to 30000 people, and in more recent years, I am probably best known for being a Lead Vocalist for a Punjabi Folk Wedding Song band. I have also been fortunate enough to be featured on over 30 British asian albums as a backing vocalist and has released tracks of my own. I am also mummy to two amazing children who are just as passionate about music, singing and dancing as I am. Prior to Kiddleydivey, I worked as an Education Health and Care Coordinator for a local authority working in the best interests of children and young people with Special Education Needs and I am currently studying BSC Hons Psychology with Counselling whilst training to be a counsellor too.

I am a big believer of the power of music. I have witnessed how music helps to heal, grow and develop, both mentally and physically. Kiddleydivey is the perfect way to combine my knowledge and experiences in one. I am really looking forward to helping your setting through music!
